The information below is destined for students and research students of Earth Sciences, as well as directors and managers of museums.
The museum can host research students on appointment for the study of its collections.
To obtain an object from the Earth Sciences collection of the museum on loan, please contact the director of the collection to specify the work you would wish to loan, the name of the host institution, the name and dates of exhibition envisaged.
If you wish to donate a fossil from the territory of the Musée de Lodève, please contact the director of the Earth Sciences collections. All donations are submitted to validation by the commission of acquisitions of the museums of France which will judge the adequacy of the object proposed for the scientific and cultural project of the museum. Fossils which come from other regions are not invited to join the collections of the Musée de Lodève.
