A new logo for the Musée de Lodève
The new logo and the graphic chart of the Musée de Lodève were created by
Polygraphik and lebleu denastas design studio.
The letters of the new logo of the Lodève Museum are reminiscent of letters carved
in stone, calling to mind the work sculpted by Paul Dardé.
The Earth Sciences collection of the Museum are represented by their
fossilised imprints and counter imprints. Two “E”s are drawn in
counter imprint of each other.
Once accentuated, these “E”s stacked on top of each other form a multi-layered strata
reminiscent at once of the layers of sedimentation, which tell the story
of the history of the Earth and the layers unearthed by archaeologists during archaeological excavations.
